Sally Best is a cornerstone in Bridge of Hope Centre County. She has filled many roles in our organization – board member, committee chair, Mentor/Neighboring Volunteer, donor and Board Chair. Her heart for our mission is evident in everything she does for and with us. Sally has unique empathy and understanding for the challenges faced by the families in our program. She’s said, “I can only imagine where I’d be today if Bridge of Hope had been available to me as a struggling, single mom. The services we offer – rental assistance, case management, and loving support from a group of volunteers who are willing to help fill in the gaps – are exactly what I needed most.” In a particularly long season of uncertainty for our organization, Sally remained a beacon of hope. Her faithful and firm adherence to our mission and to our program reminded us that we were called to serve the women and children in our program with excellence, no matter how slim our resources or how few our numbers. She navigated us to safety and is leaving us in the best position our organization has ever been in. Sally, we are ever so grateful for your fearless leadership and for all you continue to do for Bridge of Hope!
